What's Out There Right Now?

This graph shows the general trend of solar energy. Each year, solar panel installations increase, with the most recent years having a large spike. This means that solar is becoming more popular at an astonishing rate. The average price for PV per watt has been decreasing faster and faster, allowing for solar energy to become more available. The market will have more public attraction now that its prices are lower.

The total installation of solar panels is highest in these states. These states are aimed towards using solar energy and are more likely to purchase and implement solar panels. They are more likely to be our customers as well. California is the obvious leader with 10000 megawatts of panels installed. All of these numbers are subject to increase based on predicted trends.

This graph shows the installed solar capacity from the past four years. From this data, the next three years are predicted, as shown by the diagonal blue- and white-lined bars.

The forecast indicates that the number will increase by almost double in the next two years. Furthermore, the installed solar capacity will reach over 20000 MW over the next two years as well.
